The practice has recently won planning for this new five bedroom family house in the Sydenham Park Conservation area. The house will meet the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and will incorporate solar thermal panels, an air sourced heat pump and a S.U.D.S. drainage system for recycling rainwater. The house shall be constructed from a sustainable timber frame clad in flush glazed opaque glass panels. The house overlooks a large area of open ground – Albion Millenium Green – to its east. The building has been designed with entrances at each end to suit its unusual siting between two access roads.
